@rednorth What is the angle adjacent to 42?
-
@rednorth I can't read it.
-
@metaltao 59 degrees
-
@rednorth hhhmmm, i so not feel like going trhough my trygonometry stuff right now ....
-
@mastermushi lol this is the last question my professor had for me, after this we move on to advanced physics
-
@rednorth you know how to solve it?
-
@rednorth OH! First, you may want to find the Angle of the other unknown Angles first, you will need those for the function later. It involves Sin and I think Cos. I think it uses the Cos of the angle perpendicular to X and the sin or Tan of the other two Angles. Something like, 39 Sin * Cos X
-
@rednorth Scratch teh X actually, it will make it redunant.
-
@mastermushi of course its just 2 am and i want to go to bed
-
@metaltao *38
-
@metaltao derrrr what?
-
@rednorth You can think of sin as a name for the shortest Side. And Cosine as the name of the side that is not the Tangent.
-
@rednorth x equals approximately
-
@rednorth do you have a syn table ?
-
@northernnarwhal Why you just give him answer? D:
-
@northernnarwhal This is the perfect oppertunity to teach something!
-
@metaltao Old Houses Always Have Old Attics [Opp-Hyp=sin, Adj-Hyp=cos, Opp-Adj=tan]
-
@metaltao It's hidden, it is his choice whether or not he wishes to view it.
-
@northernnarwhal yep
