  1. Today is the birthday of one of my favourite musicians, Lou Reed, so I decided to do a portrait in tribute of his legacy. Much of his work has had not only a profound impact on the world of music but also on me personally as both a musician and artist. He would've been 73 were he alive today. RIP you fantastic legend !art http://rainbowdash.net/attachment/819422

    1. @northernnarwhal I have been looking at this for a while, I have been wondering what you use for your Filler. Or what ever you call the way you coloured the hair! It looks simply incredibly Close to noir. But, maybe that is what Felt does?

          1. @metaltao Thanks. I feel that art, along with other creative outlets like music and writing, are really important processes for letting go of my ego and putting my festering emotions into something productive.

            1. @northernnarwhal I think I might actually need to *dial back* a bit on my ego through my artwork. Hrm.

              1. @clayinthecarpet I usually try to actively dial back on my ego when doing anything creative because most of what I do is pretentious enough as is.

                1. @northernnarwhal I just meant ego in terms of saying nothing but stuff about myself, really.
