@dariusponyperson Oh, I see now. It borrows some aspects usually only found in roguelikes; primarily permadeath and some degree of random generation of level content. Pretty interested now.

@toksyuryel Huh. Yeah, I guess it is. Also this is making me want to play a hardcore game of Minecraft. Permadeath really changes how I approach things like Nethack, and it'd be fun to see how that changes my approach to Minecraft.

@bitshift I recommend Spellbound Caves. Paul Soares Jr. recently beat that one on hardcore mode, so at least you know it is doable :) and I consider that to be his most fun map.

@toksyuryel Cool. I guess that's the one I'll try, then. Also, due to completionist tendencies I'll probably keep running through until I do complete it, no matter how many restarts it takes, unless it starts to get hyper-tedious. :/ Will probably do some editing to drop awful attempts if I do record/upload it, though.

@redenchilada Uncharted was bad and I have no idea how people liked it. I will admit that visually, it's pretty dang good, but otherwise it's less than stellar. In conclusion, The last of Us looks bad. also, who debuted that "Watch Dogs" game. That was the only one that caught me at all in the show.
