                  @metaltao I know it sounds closed-minded, but look at PewDiePie and Markiplier, the largest suppliers of survivial horror let's plays on YouTube. Can you honestly look at them and say "they care about the game they're playing"?

                    Also, it sounds close minded but... You are saying it is. But, let's not jump to that. Shall we? You are using them as a basis (Their authority.) as being the flagship of all gamers and what all Let's players are like. Can you say, without a doubt, that all, including gamers of the live stream variety, are indeed replicates of these two?
                    There is a culture involved that does, at times, support your (But, let's make it less broad) idea. It simply does not happen with all. At least, (May you excuse my Burden of Proof on you.) we do not have enough statistical evidence to provide that the 90% number was not pulled out of thin aair.

                      @metaltao You're right, I cannot statistically prove that 90% of Let's Players are egotistical dickwheels who play games like Five Nights at Freddy's five nights a week so they can get as many views as possible and cash their checks as soon as possible, but that's totally what happens.
