Wednesday, 06-Jun-12 11:44:37 UTC from MuSTArDroid
          1. @derpyshy I'm technically a 'mentor' for students with disabilities at a boys' boarding school, but because on night watch I interact with them only a tiny bit

                1. @pony Asbergers is a little bit similar to autism/ADD, isn't it?

Wednesday, 06-Jun-12 12:05:07 UTC from MuSTArDroid
                  1. @derpyshy yup. it's known as a high functioning form of autism though some like to differentiate it altogether from autism.

                    1. @pony Yup. My brother has autism + Downs syndrome, so my dad is a master of ADD, Autism, Asbergers, Downs syndrome, etc. And has read a lot if books :)

                      2. @derpyshy It takes a good strong heart to love and raise such a unique child. The world needs more ponies like him!

                        2. @pony I know :) But after he stopped eating food with wheat/milk/glutano, (i think that's what it is in English) he's started communicating using his hands (driving, biking, finished, good, music, etc.), and also using speech. Not too long ago, he started making new sounds, and the next day, he started putting the sounds together to make more complicated sounds :) he's 11, by the way.

                          1. @derpyshy that's awesome! A raw food diet should help even more if you are interested.

Wednesday, 06-Jun-12 12:22:51 UTC from MuSTArDroid
                              1. @derpyshy raw food. There's lots of stuff. You would have to google it. Anything from different kinds of salads to pecan pie. All super healthy and known to clear diabetes as well.

                                      1. @derpyshy Most people are somewhere on the spectrum for most conditions, they just don't meet people with "psych" in their title...

Wednesday, 06-Jun-12 13:12:56 UTC from web

Wednesday, 06-Jun-12 13:14:53 UTC from web

                            1. @sarramore @pony xD So it's the same as in Norwegian. Also, it's known that autistic kids don't sweat. He didn't either, until we stopped with milk, etc.

                                1. @pony I know ^_^ It's also very easy to teach him things now :) Like for example, i got a big plastic-bowl, and threw a tennis-ball into it, while he was watching. I gave him the ball, and said "Throw!". He immediately threw the ball into the bowl, and later, he started throwing the ball around the house XD

                          3. @derpyshy gluten, you're close enough! That's so cool! It's really encouraging to see that kind of progress! Despite my work experience, though, I don't know much about development.

    2. @pony So wait. Are you the one with a Twili tulpa?

Wednesday, 06-Jun-12 11:39:07 UTC from StatusNet iPhone
      1. @renovatedkitchen Fluttershy actually. :)

Wednesday, 06-Jun-12 11:39:38 UTC from web
        1. @pony that's awesome. How is she? An question. Want to make sure it's not my imagination. When you look at your tulpa, you can't see through it, but you sorta to say know what's behind it?

Wednesday, 06-Jun-12 11:41:01 UTC from StatusNet iPhone
          1. @renovatedkitchen That's how it works. Think of the tulpa as a sort of "post-processing" effect. She's added after your eyes have already reported what's thare.

Wednesday, 06-Jun-12 11:44:27 UTC from StatusNet Desktop
            1. @ceruleanspark good. I was working on a rainbow dash one for quite a while. Then finally started working on her physical appearances. Then one time I see her, but she was only there for a couple seconds. However after that, I couldn't figure out why sometimes her manes colour order is reversed. And lately I haven't been too mentally stable, so I'm on the verge of scrapping her. You have a tulpa?

Wednesday, 06-Jun-12 11:48:08 UTC from StatusNet iPhone
              1. @renovatedkitchen Mysterious shrug.

Wednesday, 06-Jun-12 11:57:36 UTC from StatusNet Desktop
                1. @ceruleanspark A man of mystery, eh? If you ever do feel like sharing though, I'd be all ears.

Wednesday, 06-Jun-12 11:59:34 UTC from StatusNet iPhone
          2. @renovatedkitchen Ah well my tulpa isn't fully formed in that way. I feel little to no need for her to manifest to me visually so, while I imagine her with a Fluttershy's image in my head, I can't say what it would be like if she appeared to me. Sorry!

Wednesday, 06-Jun-12 11:45:21 UTC from web
            1. @pony Tulpa sounds do silly XD

Wednesday, 06-Jun-12 11:46:32 UTC from MuSTArDroid
              1. @derpyshy it's an odd word, "tulpa!"

Wednesday, 06-Jun-12 11:49:50 UTC from web
                1. @pony what does it mean, exactly?

Wednesday, 06-Jun-12 11:51:04 UTC from MuSTArDroid
            2. @pony not a problem. Better to have a happy voice in your head than a negative one.
