  1. People are getting crazier from day to day with their price expectations. In my local listings someone wants to sell their SNES with 4 Games (Super Mario World, Super Mario Kart, Super Mario All-Stars, Magical Quest starring Mickey Mouse) and two controllers for 160€.

      1. @rarity It's not necessarily true but that's totally insane pricing. I'm looking at the prices of finished ebay auctions and I'm shocked that the people are paying such prices.

        1. @adiwan I feel like it is, though. As long as people still want classic consoles that are never going to be reproduced again, the cost will go up as supply goes down due to damage and time.

            1. @ceruleanspark I know nothing about Bitcoin

              1. @rarity There are a finite number of coins that will ever exist, and supply is constantly depleted by system failures, thefts and people forgetting passwords and such. According to self proclaimed experts, the only *possible* outcome of this is that the value will increase indefinitely.

                1. @ceruleanspark but Bitcoins have no inherent value besides what people say they are worth. A SNES sold for $199 USD in 1991, which is about $340 today. I can absolutely see great condition SNESes going for that much in a few years, because unlike a Bitcoin it has inherent value.
