                      @rarity I actually liked Dirty Vibe, but I felt that Recess was inconsistent overall as a record. His previously fresh ideas have run themselves pretty thin, and I understand he's trying to push for different sounds on Recess but ultimately his songwriting doesn't justify his ambitions and Recess holistically comes off lacking any sense of cohesion.

                        @northernnarwhal I agree that it's more like a collection of random tracks that have no connection to the other. I'd LOVE if he did a whole album like Coast is Clear

                          @rarity Yeah, I feel like he's trying his hand in a lot of different places but he doesn't have the songwriting capabilities to back up the multiple genre influences he's reaching for.

                        @northernnarwhal *inserts self* I really liked Stranger. It had a throwback (though not necessarily Skrillex) feel to it. Dirty Vibe definitely went hard- but got old quick for me. Totally agreed though- the album was really all over the place.
