        @redenchilada Pretty much all the companies have something to prove this year: Nintendo has to prove that the Wii U's touch screen controller is viable as anything but a map, Sony's gotta somehow make the back touchpad thing on the vita be worth the finger cramps, and M$... well, they already proved themselves as dolts.

              @techdisk42 I can see a lot of applications for multiplayer, actually. Luigi's Ghost Mansion, for instance, looked really fun. The whole thing is basically a reimagining of GCN-GBA connectivity, basically?

            @redenchilada The DS has a small enough screen that it is almost viable to do a menu system on it because it is so close to your fingers. The Wii U's touchscreen is humongous. Im not gonna try to balance the controller in one hand while i control with the other.

                        @yodelerty well they have to convince old ones to go back. I have a wii. i could see the idea behind the wii remote. I cant see the idea behind the touchscreen.

                                  @techdisk42 That's StreetPass. It gives game-specific stuff, like sending ghost data around in MK7 and other fun things like that! Plus the 3DS has actual friend lists which is also pretty cool.

                                @yodelerty i really wanted OOT, but im not gonna get a system for one game. Ill look into getting the Wii U, though, despite all my doubts. who knows. they might pull it off.
