Are Italians white?
Monday, 20-Apr-15 16:05:28 UTC from Mayonnaise-
@mrmattimation My mother is Italian and I inherited an Italian skin tone (that is, olive skin) from her side, and I've actually had people in the past ask me if I was white or not. So I'm white, but it's sort of a "dark white", if that makes sense.

@northernnarwhal You're what we brazilians (or maybe it's just me) call "Pingado", which is basically milk with a drop of coffee.

@coltz Ha, I like it! English and French don't have any creative names for people with my skin tone.

@northernnarwhal When you have this variety of skins tones in a single country, you kinda have to make up some stuff. For description purposes only, of course.

@coltz What's interesting is that Toronto is actually one of the most diverse cities in the world. There's a name for my skin tone (olive skin) but there's no nickname or slang name for it.

@northernnarwhal As I said, I don't remember if I heard someone saying that or if I just came up with that years ago. xD
