    I want to draw at this moment, paper isn't instantly available and drawing with a mouse sucks. I need to get a drawing tablet.

      @polarbear I've used a Wacom Bamboo (now called the Intuos Pen) for a very long time and it's served me very well. I'll be retiring it this year but it's served me very well for almost five years.

        @polarbear I can second @mrmattimation on the Bamboo thing. I wanted it for handwriting recognition to soothe tendonitis and the software at the time wasn't up to snuff (long story), but when I tried it with art stuff it was pretty nice. Not that I arted very often, but it made fluid vectors and Photoshop tracing so very nice and easy.
