    When people say "Flash is dead", I feel like they somehow conveniently forget the actual authoring software itself (which indeed does publish to HTML 5)

      @mrmattimation It's just that they usually aren't referring to that. Flash the browser plugin is... not quite dead yet, but definitely losing popularity.

      @mrmattimation Well Matt, clearly when people say "Flash is dead" they're actually referring to when Barry Allen died in the Crisis on Infinite Earths story arc of the DC Universe in the comics.
