  1. I'm legitimately more used to it than any other control scheme, because my brother doesn't have any other controllers for the Wii U

    1. @redenchilada I actually prefer the Wii U gamepad to GameCube controllers, it's easier to shorthop with. Though recently I've mainly been using the Classic Controller a lot.

      1. @northernnarwhal I tried out a pro controller at the last convention I went to and kinda liked it, but I kept getting thrown off by muscle memory since I had literally just been using nunchuck beforehand

        1. @redenchilada Honestly I know a few people who prefer the Wiimote and Nunchuk so you're not alone. I actually know a guy whose preference is the Wiimote sideways, which is a playstyle I'd never be able to adjust to.

          1. @northernnarwhal I'd probably be able to use sideways Wiimote if I wasn't forced into using up to jump on it.

            1. @redenchilada I use up or x/y to jump pretty evenly, it generally depends on the situation.

              1. @northernnarwhal Tap-jump is awful to me when I'm trying to move around. What's your control scheme set to, anyway? (If it's not just the default)

                1. @redenchilada It's just the default for the Wii U gamepad. I leave tap-jump on too.

                  1. @northernnarwhal Dang.
