    1. @thelastgherkin Tell me more. Which edition, class, race?

      1. @adiwan It's like asking for ASL for pen & paper RPG players.

      2. @adiwan Hey man, it took me three weeks to come up with the name.

        1. @thelastgherkin Soo... I assume he is a human berserker?

          1. @adiwan I've never actually played D'n'D. My brother and sister-in-law are in a group that I've got an open invitation to, so I just wanted to come up with a dumb name that might make them laugh if they heard it. So I don't know anything about edition, class or race.

            1. @thelastgherkin If you want a really dumb name I'll get you one: Brak O'mango.

                1. @thelastgherkin Yeah. A funny name with a bone.

                  1. @adiwan So! They laugh at my grape, will they?! I'll show them! I'll show them how many Fluffle Puffs Brak O'kiwi can make!!

                    1. @thelastgherkin Why not. Maybe Brak is a grocery seller and sells bananas, sausages and eggs for his living. Maybe he has some big melons for the women to sell. Maybe he gives one spare bone to them (to make a soup).

                    2. @thelastgherkin That said: A traveling salesman as a background with that pun and suggestive heavy joke charakter would be the best. A traveling salesman might want to travel alongside some heroes because he doesn't want to be robbed again. I think a bard class would fit that the best. Supporting the group not only with phallic food but also with a lot of morale and some healing powers.

                      1. @adiwan I don't want a joke character, I wanted a joke name. That way I'm forcing the other players to take seriously something ridiculous.

                        1. @thelastgherkin Well... Look into playing a non-human race. In the Eberron setting there are changelings and they have mostly only one syllable names. You could make the name "Yum". Elven names are more likely to be ridiculous with unusual syllable combinations and different pronounciations. You can use a real word and pronounce it slightly different like for example "alien". You can pronounce it ali-een. Slap a apostroph in between, double some vowels and it's getting unnoticed and you can say that it wasn't your intention to use that word. Also you can use by-names to make the name over the top.

            2. @thelastgherkin It's all about making the most ridiculous character you can while making it believable, and slowly making it less ridiculous over the sessions through character progression.
