      @bobo The current DAWs I work in primarily are Reason 8, Pro Tools 11, and Logic Pro X.

          @bobo FL isn't a bad DAW, there aren't really bad DAWs. I'm just moving to more industry standard DAWs (this is especially the case for Pro Tools) because I'm going to be using all of this software in a professional working environment and not just as a hobby.

        @northernnarwhal The music for My Little Brony is now primarily done on Logic Pro X. The orchestra samples are KILLER.

            @northernnarwhal Joe actually used GarageBand before using Logic. That sounded good too, but it had to mostly be electronic because the orchestral samples left something to be desired.

              @mrmattimation Yeah, GarageBand is a good DAW for beginners but in my experience you can get much richer sounds and textures in other DAWs if you're willing to put in the time to learn them

                @northernnarwhal I'm hoping that, now that Joe's using logic, the music in my cartoons'll sound a little bit more like something you'd hear on TV or in the movies. The bits and pieces that I've been sent are sounding really good.

                  @mrmattimation From my knowledge Logic isn't the most commonly used DAW in television but it can certainly produce professional television grade music in the right hands.
