    1. @tiffany Well, higher framerates means larger file. Their player also likely had to be modified to make 60fps playback possible, and until a couple of years ago, it wasn't worth the effort because the only people who recorded things at 60fps were nobody.

        1. @tiffany To clarify: The extra frames weren't "hidden" because there weren't extra frames to hide. People just weren't recording at anything higher than 30 frames because 60fps video is actually really intensive on a computer's hardware to render in real time, at least more so than the standard 24.
