@tiffany You don't have to, it's usually just what comes naturally to me when I watch television (or really engage with media in general)

@northernnarwhal I sort of want to but I suppose it's not necessarily for me if I prefer to just watch and appreciate it at face value and then expand on it in hindsight

@tiffany If you prefer to watch it that way then just watch it that way and enjoy it on your own metrics, there's no "correct" way to engage with media.

@tiffany Just remember that if you're going to engage with television critically, do it because you want to find value in works you cherish and not as ammunition towards people who aren't as invested in television as you are
