        @adiwan I really don't want it because I don't like being contacted, but no-one's really used asks to communicate with me before so I'm not sure if it'll be a negligible difference.

          @thelastgherkin In the FAQ http://support.tumblr.com/post/132943845192/youve-asked-us-for-real-instant-messaging-and they say that you can at least make it so that you can chat only with people you follow.
