      @thelastgherkin I thought about the points you're making before. There is not much information to know for sure who has defeated Nightmare Moon, Discord et cetera (maybe the top reigning villain). It could also be a team of OC characters who won with a Deus Ex Machina, like the mane six, only cheesier. Who knows.

        @adiwan I was thinking about this more. Maybe Flimflam won in more than one timeline? It would account for the mechanical production line farm in Timeline 1. Timeline 6 had the least credible threat, so that means groundhog day defender Starlight was getting closer to peace!

          @thelastgherkin I guess Flim and Flam have built some sort of mega corporation like some futuristic settings have (like Shadowrun). These mega corporations are so big and powerful such that the governments practically can't do anything without them and thus be not in charge anymore.
