        @northernnarwhal I hold them in the "so bad it's good" category (heh "gory") but I think if I were younger they might not have nostalgia on their side.

          @scribusclaus That does play a role in establishing out opinions on longstanding media franchises. I likely wouldn't be nearly the Pokemon fan I am today were it not for nostalgia and childhood experience.
