    so... apparently Tennessee's state gun is the Barrett M82
    it's a .50 cal sniper rifle able to hit a moving ARMORED target up to 4 miles
    it can also be modded to handle incendiary and drill-tip ammo that can pierce tank-grade fuselage
    effectively making it an anti-tank rifle

      @zennx I wasn't aware of "state rifles" being listed for US states, but the US crime rate has been on a downward trajectory since the '90's. I also don't know of any major crime sprees being carried out with the Barrett M82.

          @zennx Perhaps not, but there is a major difference between a tank and a rifle. Not to mention that tanks have to be "demilitarized" (main gun disabled) before civilians with deep pockets can own them.

      @zennx The M82 is ugly anyway. The Istiglal and the OSV-96 are much better looking. Not to mention WWII anti tank rifles.

        @nerthos The OSV96 is what we used in our anti-material training, didn't get to use it outside of that as it wasn't my specialty.

            @nerthos Not as much till the morning after, which sucked because that was the start of our captivity and escape training, and we were told (can believe it also) -1MOA at 2km with copper round.
