  1. @karl His previous articles hint that he is a fanboy which is surprising by itself. Microsoft is really pushing for Windows 10, whether users want it or not.

    1. @hfaust I actually dove into the context button to see what you were talking about. The whole article just does not sit right with me to the point where I want to laugh in this guy's face a couple of times. However, I do see less and less concerns about upgrading my Windows 7 to Windows 10 every day. The only real things that are keeping me now are because Windows 10 seems to FORCE updates, even when playing games for instance, batcave around with the privacy-settings, and, that's it ? I mean as a Windows 7 user they are probably already into my stuff on the same level as if I were using Windows 10 ?

      1. @critialcloudkicker Windows 10 is not everyone (legacy software, ads, a computer not fast enough, etc). Concerns of privacy aside, forcing updates (which is a default) could let to people losing their work, interrupting important tasks, etc.

Microsoft seems not to understand that. And now by pushing the update without a warning, even adware disguised as security updates shows how out of touch they are.

        1. @hfaust Oh, yeah, forgot about that. At least my Microsoft Sidewinder actually works under Windows 7. I tried it at someone running Windows 10 and it does not work. However it did seem to work when I put it in a Steam Link running from the same computer ... Wha ?!? http://rainbowdash.net/attachment/834980

      2. @critialcloudkicker Win 10 may track more of your stuff, so if you do upgrade make sure you do a custom installation and turn off what you don't like. I agree with Faust that MS is out of touch with users, but I myself use it as my daily driver.
