@nerthos I just used an online translator 'cuz my Spanish isn't very strong (my mother only ever spoke English to me as a kid) so uh sorry for how BROKEN that was.

@nerthos howmuch of your countrymen speak & understand ( fluent ) English anyway ? ... Down here the media just subs everything. I guess you were talking about an Obama-dubbing ? ... Must probably be an awesome resumé thing though "voice of Argentinian Obama".

@critialcloudkicker As far as Buenos Aires goes, a decent chunk understands it, and many speak it. Let's say a 20% understand and 5% talk? which means a few hundred thousand.

@critialcloudkicker Considering the province has almost half the population of the country, the numbers are pretty high. Still, there are no nearby english-speaking countries, so that makes the number weight more.

@nerthos Ugh, live translations... ... Wait, just why is Obama speaking anyway ? My guess "terrorism bad, aid European allies, mourn the deaths in Brussel" ... But there is no tv/pc here so I can listen to it.

@critialcloudkicker Nah, it's Obama speaking and answering questions of university students. Mostly talking about encouraging bussiness, worldwide development, and cooperation in industry and medicine. You're thinking of a Bush speech. He only barely mentioned terrorism, as this country has nothing to do with it.
