    So in "The Stolen Earth", Earth is transported to the Medusa Cascade. Ignoring the 26 other planets' effect on say, tides or something... does the Medusa Cascade have no sun? Why is it night both sides of the Earth? Why can anyone see anything?

      if not for the second light how could you see the dark?
