@cavatina Yes. they did. Before 7, it was half decent for pixel art. now, they added permanent antialising. of course, i use paint.net myself, but still.

@techdisk42 I don't care because nobody uses MS Paint anyway except for quick print-screen pasting.

@techdisk42 AAANYWAY. I found out you can in fact import the old versions of MS paint. I have paint from win 98, paint from XP, Wordpad from 98, and wordpad from XP in this zip file. and they all work on win 7. https://dl.dropbox.com/u/32529485/Nostalgia.zip

@techdisk42 I am quite surprised, seeing how Microsoft Office 2007 documents can make Microsoft Office 2010 crash, and the other way around. Good for nostalgia, I guess, though I put my Windows time away as "bad memories". Still, cool it works :P

@techdisk42 I hate the new layout, really. I always thought Paint was a crappy program but the new layout is even worse to use.

@omni in fact, i had always used xp paint for everything and expected the same for 7. the moment i saw the new layout, i looked for a replacement.
