@vriska Unseasoned white rice is only justifiable when you have diarrhea and can't pass anything else because it'd destroy your stomach.

@hakui It's like concrete. You can technically make a house out of nothing but concrete, but it'll be cold, humid, and won't look nice. Now if you add a little wood, paint, thermal and water isolation, it can be pretty nice. Rice is the same. It's a basis, it's bland until you add a bit of spice or sauce or something to it.

@nerthos no, like, we dont eat pure rice lije the asians. we ger the white rice and eat with the rest of the meal (usually beams, meat and a salada thing)
