  1. I know I'm nothing of a philanthrope but it's really weird to me that people are valuing the life of a gorilla over a 4 year old child. And I don't believe in objective or empirical value of anything but that goes both ways

    1. @tiffany To be honest, killing a gorilla, a man, or anything that has done nothing wrong is objectively wrong. Regardless of the risk to whoever got into trouble, you just don't kill an innocent. That's murder. It's like shooting the driver of a train because someone fell on the road.

        1. @firestormdangerdash Eh, some do, some don't. I would have let the kid get it and then recovered the body to see if it was still alive, once risk to the animal and the zoo staff was minimal.
