Dear random music artist: not everybody uses MAC or Windows. And even from those people, not everybody wants to use crappy iTunes. Making iTunes-only releases do not cause you to make more money, it is like shooting yourself in the foot and wondering why it hurt you, instead of healed you.

@purplephish20 Exactly. And they take an insane amount of the profit from the artists, it's the worst place to buy and the worst place to sell.

@omni I just rip CDs as ALAC files so they are apple product compatable, I can hear a sound difference definately

@purplephish20 I solve the problem by not using Apple products.

@omni I know, I just have an ipod touch, FLAC is incompatable

@purplephish20 I used to have an iPod Touch. I decided that my Android does a better job at playing music, so I went to CyanogenMod to get .FLAC support and am using that now, instead of my iPod. I'm trying to find out the best way to sell the piece of junk, because I don't want it anymore.

@pawnheart I still prefer BandCamp over all, .FLAC for no extra cost? Hell yeah!
