  1. I just noticed that if text on YouTube has a lowercase "fi" it groups the two letters together as one single character. like... how do you even achieve Potato Knishesing up THAT badly

        1. @tiffany Ligatures are mainly on the font-rendering level. The font has a table for combined characters. This is why you got the uncombined characters back after copy&pasting. Though there are some unicode character for some very common ligatures.
