  1. Also: I hate Donald Trump as much as the next guy, but if he gets elected, you'll be excited, won't you? Just a little bit. Not in a "YEAH MAN DONALD TRUMP" sort of way, but in a "this is new and scary but I'm morbidly curious, let's see what happens" sort of way.

    1. @mrmattimation my personal hope is that he Fluffle Puffs up so bad that there's a world-wide change in democracy that makes it so that you have to have a average or above IQ to be able to vote or be involved in politics in general
mb also preventing people over 60 voting over things that will take over 4 years to fully realize, but this one looks less feasible

    2. @mrmattimation There is no fundamental difference between him and Hillary. He is more unpredictable and demagogic, but we are talking about someone with a history of opportunism (he claimed to be pro-life and in favor of universal healthcare in the past). Trump is simply pandering to the most backward sections of the working class with his anti-immigrant rhetoric and such (he probably doesn't even believe a good deal of what he is saying, and even if he believed it, it wouldn't get congressional approval). I am also convinced Trump's appeal would melt away when he ended up failing to improve living standards.

    3. @mrmattimation There would also possibly be a silver lining in that a Trump victory could push Muslims and Hispanics further to the left. :)

      1. @m14brony I think Trump is one of the only things that makes a Hispanic man vote democrat, we tend to vote further right than left. For some reason.

        2. @mrmattimation Hispanics typically come from a culturally conservative background, but it seems the xenophobia, if not outright racism, of many Republicans, forces them to the left at times.
