  1. If the first SMB on NES wasn't a masterpiece of the platform genre, would we have realized? Would video games never have recovered from ET on Atari, or would we have wildly different gaming standards today?

    1. @scribus Interesting thought. I think that the video game crash wasn't as big as people try to make it. Both the European and Asian market were less so affected by the US crash. If the NES wasn't a big seller other platforms might be. Maybe the Master System would have been more popular or even the cheaper micro computers like the ZX Spectrum, BBC Micro, C64 and alikes.
