  1. I don't understand why TV series are putting a few minutes before the title sequence. It's like having a book with the first chapter on the outside. The title sequence has no purpose anymore.

      1. @mrmattimation I know that's a thing for years (decades). I still think that's dumb. What's the purpose of the title sequence then when the show has already begun?

        1. @adiwan it adds character to the show. its a constant, something easily recognizable. plus, theme songs and title sequences and stuff will often list the main characters as well, or give some context to the main plot or conflict of the show, which can be useful to new viewers
