    OH WAIT, the scenes afterward take place two weeks LATER, not two weeks PRIOR??? then what was the significance of that first scene???????????

        @adiwan Oh. So it's just clumsily done exposition then. I feel like they could have just done the episode without that scene and it would have made just as much sense (or more sense, considering I spent a good five minutes trying to figure out why that first scene was there)

          @mrmattimation Pretty much this. The creators wanted to create a mystery but I think it'd be better meshed together with the flashbacks later.
