    I got a scary spam mail that had my address and a huge list of very expensive software (total of 4000€). I'm not scared of having to pay for anything because it came from a spam e-mail address but that it had my IRL address, the place where I live, made me crap my pants.

      @adiwan What are the laws on selling data in Germany? In the USA you can hardly keep anyone from knowing your address to send ads and other BS. Though, email spammers having that data is disconcerting either way. :-/

        @scribus There are laws about that but they are barely enforceable, especially when the incriminating person is in another country.
