@minti The problem is, sometimes the line between non-clop and clop is hard to draw, especially when a network is already openly touching subjects like torture. Therefore, my original plan was to allow clop, but forcing users to make sure posts are properly tagged. Regarding the CSS, I was thinking of using StatusNet 1.1.0 with the 3-panel layout (I'm fine with considering another version, I don't know the differences but @ceruleanspark probably has a reason he is running this older version and not the latest), but theming should make any layout possible. I can't find the last stuff the CSS designer was doing back, but here is the design I made which probably makes you understand why I want someone who knows what he is doing to work on it instead: http://i.minus.com/i1eBRVDqUJYGp.png.

@omni The reason RDN is running this old version and not the latest is because it's extraordinarily difficult to upgrade from this version to the latest. Do not use this version if you aren't already stuck in that situation.

@omni StatusNet 1.0.1 is infinity better than the current version running (mainly cause 0.9.7fix1's worth is basically 0 imho.) but, we're running an older version cause of the effort required to upgrade as far as I can tell. And uhh, statusnet is pretty hard to theme. I've tried my hand at it. You can change the look, but the basic layout has to stay the same or it like explodes. Several times. (Can you do that? Can you explode twice?)

@ceruleanspark It has it's ups and downs. It's a *little* better cause they improved the API and such and optimized the code a bit I'm assuming. xD

@minti I actually don't like it for the err sexual aspect. Some of it I find hilarious, sometimes I find it legitimately entertaining for various reasons. Haven't used any of it as a springboard for fantasies yet tbh.

@toksyuryel Perhaps can split it into two parts, like RDN has a "normal" and "RP" network. Or I can try to add rdnrefresh or so to it, allowing people to auto-hide either nsfw or grimdark (with tags), though I don't expect that to go well. Hmmm...

@toksyuryel I guess a slightly less dark theme wouldn't be a bad idea, this one is way too dark anyway. But, well, I don't have a good designer.
