  1. speaking of groups, I wonder if it'd be a good idea to purge all current ones and begin anew

    1. @tiffany I'd be against it, if just because we'd be throwing away five years of history. I think it'd be better to rename the ones that are still used to a non-horse-related standard.

        1. @tiffany Most of the groups have names like "coder ponies" which could just be changed to "coders" without difficulty and without a trace of the previous inclination. Others already have regular names like the "artists" group.

          1. @nerthos I forgot about the groups that actually have a use lol

      2. @nerthos I think the pony ones still have a place. We occasionally have a new ponyfan drop in, they might gather in a general cartoon site's pony group(s).

        1. @scribus Yeah, the specific ones related to the show have no reason to go. We have them for many shows and games after all, and if we intend to expand it'd be nice to have specific groups so new users can first aim for known ground. I was talking about the general groups.

          1. @nerthos Oh yeah. I had forgotten just how liberally pony and the -pony suffix got thrown around back in the day.

            1. @scribus Everypooh should have been more careful with that.

              1. @nerthos I knew we should have gone with "y'all motherFrankerZers."
