@pony Most of it falls under slice of life, but there are romance RPs, ponies go on adventures, sometimes things happen that are O NO. I dunno, it's fun. @abigpony No it isn't.

@pony Hrm. Well, if it's a character that's been around for AGES and has made ties with loads of characters, it's incredibly difficult to deal with. We had a scare when one of the oldest RPers left for a bit, but he came back. With minor-er characters there's usually the excuse of "left Equestria" or "ded".

@pony I'd use Starseer, the only problem could be that he is a professional scout and therefore would know about some things I as the player would not.

@pony Any canon characters have to be RPed at least once every two weeks - the first time you don't (without proper explanation, like bad news or a vacation), it's a warning, the second time the character is no longer yours and can be auditioned for.

@pony Yeah. It's frustrating to have a canon or background character go inactive that you want to RP with or want to RP, and can't do anything about it. Or have a character being RPed by someone that sucks.

@moonprincess I'm thinking it might be nice to try a more intimate RP environment, so perhaps Canterlot RP isn't for me.. at least not for starters. I got an invitation once from somepony to join an RP site that he highly recommended.. I don't know which site it was anymore though..

@pony I'd even like Canterlot RP - strict rules and good roleplaying don't intimitate me. The problem is that I most likely will struggle with the first post for every play - and then it is better if you may know some of the players before...

@hakupony Yes. Me too. I actually prefer strict clear rules as long as they don't stifle creativity too much. I just would rather not be lost in a sea of players.

@pony Er...well...it already takes place five years ahead of the end of the show, and canon deviations happened naturally. I.E., Discord happened before season 2 and wasn't a draconequus; Cadance doesn't exist and she and Shining Armour never married; there are "higher powers" that aren't defined by the show...

@pony For the mane six, Twilight's kind of different, but the others are pretty much the same. Luna, who I play, has deviated since I had to basically construct her character on my own before season 2, but I do enjoy working with the creepy aspect of her. @hakupony It used to be more adventurous.
