Everything I see on the news about this theater gunman... I think more and more that he was a religious nut. They say he was dressed up as the Joker and even refers to himself as such to the police. In this case it could be argued that a man is fully immersed in an alternative personality; that he believes he is the joker, which is where I say that may be wrong. A man who has gone so far as to immerse himself in a personality like that, would be 100% informed on who he is portraying, and would have a complete jigsaw puzzle of his chosen character in his head, and the simple thing is... his was inaccurate, the Joker; never in a million years would do something like what he did, a mindless shooting spree... Two face maybe, but not the joker... The man was likely a satanic nut who is pretending to be like he is in the hope he gets protection under the mental health act. As opposed to coming across as a clear thinking Satan worshiper, which he likely is.

@thatonepony Its recorded that a lot of these crazed gunmen in that past are literally people who see themselves as the living embodiment of satan or jesus christ or something.... I wouldnt say its unlikely

@carcino The joker would be more flamboyant, as sick as it is to say. He wouldnt simply shoot a load of people. It's as simple as that

@purplephish20 Joker kills people because it's funny. His only 'power' is an extreme capacity for violence. He would shoot up a theater, get caught, break out, and do it again because he thought it was so funny the first time.

@carcino Joker wouldnt shoot up a theatre... he would wire it to blow under some fancy condition... but he would never do a mass shooting himself

@greydragon412 I can tell, yknow ive been trying to play it cool for awile, but thatone pony has been pushing me, it was an okay video game i brought up and he and carcino have been ripping me up about it.

@thatonepony In addition, it is a very bad idea to even claim for insanity because if you have a mental condition which made you go into a cinema shooting people, you will get hospitalized and that hospitalization won't be cancelled because no one can be one hundred percent sure and no one wants to take the burden after such a spectacular case to claim this person to be cured.

@iluvzfluttershy Love and tolerance is a defense mechanism used by fans when they don't like what someone has to say about them. Nobody _actually_ ever practiced it.

@iluvzfluttershy Because it is a stupid meme. People get infested by people repeating it again and again and again and again and again and again and again. Still: it has nothing to do with the show or with how the fandom acts. Basically it is Bronylanguage for "haters gonna hate" and everypony uses it because everypony uses it.
