    because in the last four years both the UK and the US made marriage equality a nationally legal thing and as far as I know nobody with enough influence is looking to overturn that decision in either country

      @mrmattimation I was just using it as an blanket example for social issues generally. He definitely is pretty caught up on this whole roads thing but he might have influence over other stuff I care about more
