          @pony I'm mostly thinking because, like, the cops in my area have been *BAD* lately. Fullerton beat that homeless dude to death, and now Anaheim appears to be outright executing suspects -- shoot them (in the back, even) and when they're down, BOOM! Headshot. And I'm like, "Dude. Wat? OC's going mad, and I don't mean Original Character."

              @pony It's a power-trip, man. I'm wondering if police shouldn't have even harsher penalties applied when they break the law. If you take humanity and apply a body-model, a crime is like a cell turning against the body (basically, cancer). But when the immune system (police) goes awry, it's like lupus or AIDS or something.
