@pony Yep. It's a little odd lol Especially since it seems like most of the people I meet these days are so much younger than me. I tend to be one of the oldest people in every one of my classes (aside from the professor)

@flaredancer ah yeah.. Community colleges are like that. I came home at 21 from a mission and fit in well enough, but by the time I left at 23 I was getting older than most.

@flaredancer Then I went to a 4-year university and Here I am still.. I'm as old as most grad students though I'm still an undergrad.

@pony That's probably going to be me, too lol I transfer to University next fall. Two years there, then I need to do grad school somewhere in Europe, probably.

@flaredancer oh Europe? cool! Well congrats on finishing at your community college. Will you finish I mean? or are you transferring before that? I'm glad i finished my AA before tranferring, though now I have far too many credits to receive govt. financial aid.. *bleh*

@pony I'm going to apply for my AA, but I don't know if I will get it, because I've mostly been focusing on my IGETC and I haven't taken all the classes for my AA. I can also apply for an AS lol

@firestormdangerdash That's why I liked community college. You get to take your sweet time and, if you're lucky and don't mind it, you can live at home without worrying about supporting yourself, etc.

@pony Oh my father wanted me gone since I was 18. I only made it to 20 being here was just to finish school, somehow. Had grad and everything. Even enough credits, just not the one main course I need. Now I would have to pay $500 to take it again.

hmm.. That's rough. 500 isn't terrible though. I've wasted more tuition than I care to think of on one course in particular. I kept trying to pass it at my university, but now I'm convinced it'll be easier to take it at the neighboring state university and transfer it for my degree. That class has me traumatized seriously.

@pony How did it link in context without it having a reply to me? Eeh, it's to late for me. And yeah, $500 isn't bad, but at this point I will have to get a full-time job and if I can afford a roof I doubt I could cash out that much for personal use. Or be able to work on something well. . . working.

@firestormdangerdash I must have clicked reply and deleted your user name by accident. it's these dratted 504 errors mussing things up so the text box doesn't clear properly after each Send. hmm.. well. I guess it's never too late should you change your mind. I mean it's nothing to fret about I suppose.

@pony I guess it shouldn't be, but if you hated doing something, and forced to do something, for over 17 years and stop literally a foot away from the actual end you sort of want to finish. So the 17 years wasn't completely pointless.

@pinkamenalovesyou hehe. Well, I liked hanging out with my nerdy friends at lunch. I loved my teachers and family. I didn't have to worry about the future quite so much though it was in the back of my mind.. Most of all I miss family. I live far from home now.
