    I seem to recall my 486 66 MHz 8 MB RAM Windows 3.11 computron from the mid 90s being more reliable than... Well, than anything else running Windows since then.

      @scribus I had many good memories with a very similar setup. I had a Cyrix CPU and a soundblaster compatible card.

        @adiwan And I bet when you moved the mouse, it moved the cursor, and keystrokes resulted in input, too.

          @scribus It did all sorts of computer stuff and it beeped and booped in a pleasant screechy tone out of the case. The best sound is still the floppy drive on boot.
