      @scribus Try using another music player from the Play Store. On my Android 2 phone I use DoubleTwist and RocketPlayer. As far as I know they honor the track and disc numbers for sorting.

        @adiwan Nothing personal, I just already have two default apps that I cannot uninstall eating up limited space, and if 2017 tech cannot abide by rules in place since 1996, Google is Evil, Google is NOBODY'S friend, if Google were and ice cream flavor it would be pralines and dick.

          @scribus According to my phone's app list Rocket Player uses up 16MB and Double Twist 32MB. It can be slightly different on yours.
