      1. @derpyshy I use the "stable" repositories under Arch Linux, which means that I will get the latest and greatest stable software on my system. For some reason, however, some idiot put a beta NVidia driver there. And beta obviously isn't stable (it's not as much of a disaster as everyone told me it would be, though, I've heard stories about screens displaying nothing but blue but it works fine here).

          1. @crusader8 Stable = software which has been tested to work properly, Beta = software which likely still has various issues. I told my system I only want stable updates, but someone put a beta in the list of "latest stable versions" :(
