    I cannot find an instruction how to root the Amazon Fire HD 7 tablet (7th generation) and how to install a custom ROM. I don't want to brick it right away with an uninformed attempt using the tools and instructions for the 5th generation tablet.

        @scribus Yeah. I want something more substantial that others already used and can testify that works on my device. It's not a huge catastrophe that there is no root method right now.
