  1. Hey... I'm Fluttershy. I saw this site and made an account. I hope you don't mind...

    1. @widget Do you run the place now and/or are somewhere higher up? I feel I've missed a memo.

    2. @widget Who is "Adam"?

Monday, 13-Aug-12 08:47:10 UTC from web
      1. @toksyuryel Cerulean.

Monday, 13-Aug-12 08:47:31 UTC from web
        1. @bitshift Does he want to be called by that name publicly like that…?

Monday, 13-Aug-12 08:48:18 UTC from web
          1. @toksyuryel I have no idea, but he has certainly mentioned it on here before, so I'd err on the side of "it's probably harmless".

          2. @toksyuryel Knowing the lad, he'd probably prefer it to any mention of his surname.

            1. @thelastgherkin because Adam is short for Adamska and his surname reveals that he is a DIRTU SOVIET

          3. @toksyuryel I mean, I'd still call him Cerulean, but the one time we met, I him that in person as well, so you should probably take that more as a sign that I just prefer handles, rather than a confirmation that he does/doesn't like being called by his first name.

            1. @bitshift s/I him that/I called him that/

    3. @widget How much money is still needed?

Monday, 13-Aug-12 08:47:46 UTC from web
    4. @widget I'll see if I can talk to him for you. Anything that takes the pressure off him (and the bills off me) is a plus in my book.

Monday, 13-Aug-12 08:48:17 UTC from web
    5. @widget That isn't what I asked.

Monday, 13-Aug-12 08:49:35 UTC from web
    6. @widget He wanted a certain amount by the end of this month. I am asking how much of that amount is still needed.

    7. @widget Well crap =/ so should I even bother donating then, if it's not gonna be enough? I thought that number would be much lower by now because of other people donating. Has *anyone* donated?

Monday, 13-Aug-12 08:53:46 UTC from web
      1. @toksyuryel I paid the first month, supplemented by like two other guys who paid significantly less.

Monday, 13-Aug-12 08:54:39 UTC from web
        1. @thelastgherkin Hey, I COULDN'T pay, pal. (it's funny because it uses paypal)

Monday, 13-Aug-12 08:56:28 UTC from web
          1. @abigpony Yes, that tends to be the stock reason

Monday, 13-Aug-12 08:57:20 UTC from web
            1. @thelastgherkin I say 'reason'...

Monday, 13-Aug-12 08:57:39 UTC from web
            2. @thelastgherkin I had a gift visa and paypal doesn't accept em. Also, I don't have enough money in my account to spend it.

              1. @abigpony I've used those with Paypal before. Odd.

                1. @minti I went on their site and it claims they don't allow the use of them. Paypal DOES have those cards particularly use for them, though.

    8. @widget I guess there's no point then =/ there goes my plan to finally donate out the window. Sigh.

Monday, 13-Aug-12 08:57:08 UTC from web
    9. @widget But it wouldn't be a desperate need anymore, so I'd have time to wait until I'm more financially secure.

Monday, 13-Aug-12 08:59:46 UTC from web
    10. @widget They also won't let me donate to RDN because it claims I am unable to pay in euros as it recommends. Paypal is as much a mess to me as StatusNet seems to be for you all. http://ur1.ca/9xxlh

Monday, 13-Aug-12 09:02:44 UTC from web
    11. @widget On the upside, when I finally do get to donate I probably won't have to go through the convoluted method I was planning to use since you're in the US.

    12. @widget Surely the hosting provider doesn't require that you pay them via paypal?

Monday, 13-Aug-12 09:09:31 UTC from web
    13. @widget I can't imagine that would be the case. A hosting provider should have the resources available to accept credit (and by extension, credit-backed debit).
