     @maiyannah I've also watched "sarcasm" trend from its original definition towards meaning snarky and mean-spirited.  people describe themselves as sarcastic.  what they really mean is that they like being assholes.  it's not the same thing.

     @awg @maiyannah With sarcasm I always have the image of Al Bundy. Which kinda fits both the snarky and mean-spirited.
     
     Bonus points for describing yourself in your twitter bio as "sarcastic X-hater" (where X is the outgroup du jour). It's surprising how many people like to announce to the world they're assholes.
