I'm not a fan of those. We have simple metal egg holders.
-
@adiwan I just found the idea of a soldier-shaped bread cutter funny, and remembered we had a chat about it a while back.
-
@nerthos Yeah, we had a chat about eating half-boiled eggs a while back. There are plenty of decorative egg cups here and I see more at the flea market. They look funny at first but everyone regrets buying them shortly after. I assume this holds true to those bread cutters. I guess they would be more successful as a cookie cutting form.
-
@adiwan I assume they'd work well on milky bread slices but not on normal bread.
-
@nerthos I detest milky bread. Even more if it contains raisins.
-
@adiwan I never saw any with raisins
-
@nerthos I saw plenty of bakeries selling milky bread with raisins in Germany. More so as buns.
-
@adiwan I should try to find it some day. If it's common in Germany I should be able to find it in the German-settled areas here.
-
@nerthos Maybe. Milchbrötchen can be found in almost any bakery here. I wouldn't be surprised that they can be found in German settlements in the USA.
-
@adiwan No idea about the USA but a few KM from where I live there's a city that's mostly German descendants
-
@nerthos I forgot that you don't live in the USA.
-
@adiwan I write colour with an "U"
-
@nerthos The proper way
-
@adiwan Exactly. You can tell I'm not from USA because I learned words from the British dictionary.
-
@nerthos Oh my, I do too! And not from the US as well! %)
-
@nerthos Mate them soldiers don't tessellate, so you're gonna end up with toast overspill
-
@thelastgherkin Point.
