There is a showing of the MLP Movie at my local cinema, but it's all in German. 21 showings and none with the original voices. Yet again: I probably wouldn't go if there was one. I mean: This movie contains the worst thing ever.

@adiwan I will mention though I could stop laughing through 70% of the money. So many well timed and placed jokes. And semi adult ones.

@firestormdangerdash Some jokes were good. There were good things in the movie but the movie is slightly below average at best in my opinion. I don't damn it as I had before watching it but it disappointed me.

@adiwan that's unfortunite. Really. Cause the feeling of waiting 6 years for a movie finally being vindicated is a great feeling. My manager who is a "softcore" brony well I would be considered hardcore laughed as much as I didn't and honestly said he did want to leave when the show ended. Even though I owned the soundtrack before the release and had him hear some of it he had no interest in buying the album till after the movie, haha. And unlike me he did drop out of the horse show for season3-5.5 cause they really didnt get interesting till 6ish again.

@adiwan also it was the second time in a theatre I ever seen people clap at the end. The other was first day showing of Jurassic World, or whatever the new one was called.

@firestormdangerdash Don't get me wrong. I'm also a pony fan, own merch, clothing, all comics, (art-)books, and I watch the series since mid-season-1 when it first aired. I want to have a good movie but I developed a more objective view on the series as well a different set of expectations. The movie didn't deliver on that. However the leaked episodes of season 7 are way better. I'd say that the season 7 finale is better than the movie despite having also some flaws.

@adiwan Fair, actually. I was dragged on board between season 1 and 2 so I started getting an interest in explosions and dark themes more.

@adiwan see I just saw it and they seemed to fix any problem i had with them since they seemed to unfish themselves.
