    1. @minti Well, I dunno if our sleep schedules will even line up in a way that's conducive to it, but yeah, we need to get on ${CHAT CLIENT OF CHOICE} and work out something about that at some point tomorrow. :)

      1. @bitshift What is your timezone anyway? I don't mind adjusting my sleep schedule a bit to make time to talk to you on ${CHAT CLIENT OF CHOICE}. My sleep schedule makes no sense as it is. xD

        1. @minti Don't you mean {CHAT_PROTOCOL_OF_CHOICE}?

Saturday, 25-Aug-12 11:42:17 UTC from web
          1. @omni Nope! I'm on windows so there's really only 1 worthwhile client per protocol. :D

            1. @minti MSN Messenger, Pidgin, imo, Trillian. How worthwhile they are depends on you, but you do have more than one choice :P

              1. @omni Pidgin only really works well on Linux, due to having a linux-native interface, never heard of imo, Trillian makes me want to throw my computer out the window. :p

                1. @minti Imo is a web-based interface. And oh, I wasn't aware Pidgin doesn't work that well on Windows (though I must admit, I've never really tried it on Windows).

                  1. @omni It's not that it doesn't work well, it's just that it's build for Linux, so compared to windows-specific and/or proprietary solutions it looks bad and generally under-performs.

                  2. @omni It's not that it works particularly badly. It just works like a linux app, so it's got weird counter-intuitive window and alerting behaviours that frustrate windows users

                    1. @omni Yeah, what @ceruleanspark said. :p

                    2. @ceruleanspark Ah, I see. Yeah, it's a matter of what you're used to, I guess.

        2. @minti GMT/BST (so either UTC or UTC+1) - the latter currently. However, just because that's my timezone, doesn't mean I actually sleep at anything resembling sensible times for it. :P (Generally speaking, though, I tend to wake up somewhere between midday and early afternoon, so I guess that functionally I'm operating on Eastern Time, or at least making that assumption will generally give accurate "awake times").
