          1. @redenchilada Nope. It's an RPG first and foremost, and while you can shoot freely you're generally encouraged to utilize V.A.T.S. instead.

      2. @redenchilada I'm not gonna just dismiss it on the grounds of general consensus, since I've never actually tried FPS games with controllers. Also, it's not entirely an FPS anyway, since guns only make up about two of the ~5 distinct weapon types, and since the CRPG elements are much more pervasive - you can get through the whole game never firing a single gun, without any negative effect on your play experience.
